These are the Moments That Make Me Thankful For My Dad...
My dad taught me a lot of things growing up that I now realize are incredible useful. This list includes the proper way to spread mulch, how to change a tire, and how to feed cable through a tight space.
Thus the following conversation that occurred at work:
Lauren: Do you need to me climb into the ceiling for you? Cause I will.
Mike (the IT guy): I don't know, maybe I should do it.
Lauren: You won't fit through the hole. And I'm a professional at cable feeding, I have done it before.
Mike: You have!?
Lauren: Yes!
Mike: Oh, well ok then.
And so, I got to climb into the ceiling, and help him feed a cable up into the space so he can wire a camera to our back room. It was really hot up there but it was so much fun to do.
I love that I get to do weird things like that at my job. I always look forward to coming to work because I never know what is going to happen.
And I think I get to go back up into the ceiling to finish the job sometime this week. Woohoo!
