I Am Alive

I haven't posted in an extremely long time.

That is because I don't have anything particularly interesting to say.

Well, that is a bit of a lie. I have one post that I wrote and I haven't decided to post it or not. I also just saw Captain America this past weekend and it made me feel lots of things. I have a idea for a post about that so hopefully I can find the time to write that soon.

I recently realized that I have never actually been busy. In the past when people have asked me how school was going I would automatically reply that I was really busy.

Lie.

I took so many naps before, and would sleep in and lay in bed and go to movies and have so much down time it was absurd.

I realize that now that I can barely manage to get 8 hours of sleep. No more naps for me.

I love it though. I am working at Adventure Island as a Guest Relations supervisor. I just starting supervising on Monday and it is wonderful. I am either there all day or I go from there to class. Then on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class all day long. That doesn't sound too back except that I have to squeeze in meetings and events around there and still try to find time to eat and drive everywhere I need to go.

But it is awesome and when this semester ends I will feel particularly accomplished.

Here are some other things that I have happened since I last posted:

I went to Dapper Day at Disney. Dapper Day is a day where you go to the park dressed up in period attire. The idea is to simulate what the imagineers thought that Main Street would look like when they were designing the park. It is bringing the concept art to life. So many people approached us and asked what was happening and took photos of us. We felt like celebrities.

The best outfit I saw was a couple that dressed in black and white. And by black and white I mean completely covered in makeup to look like they stepped out of an old photograph. It was incredible.

Kellie and I went to the Miley Cyrus concert. It was honestly the best concert I have ever been to. It was artistic and entertaining and she can certainly sing. It was awesome. So feel free to judge me for honestly liking her. I have argued with multiple people about it and I feel like I could write an entire blog post about my feelings and other peoples hatred of a person. Maybe I will.

I went home for a weekend for a funeral and managed to see some of my favorite people. I surprised them at Applebee's and it was good for my soul.

A random guy in another booth jumped in our photo. We did not ask for that. It was random and weird and awesome.

I was featured on the SAS instagram. That was so awesome. Everyone should sail. Yes this is a shameless promotion of a program I love. Embrace it.

Molly came down to Tampa for St. Patricks day and we had far too much fun reliving our time in Ireland.

I was introduced to a new iPhone game by Jessi. It is called 2048 and is extremely fun and extremely addicting. I both recommend downloading it and also not because you will not be able to stop playing and will resent me for getting you addicted. But look! I won! It took so long and I feel accomplished. It's the little things.

That's everything I have got going on. It seems like not very much but that's because I spend the majority of my time working and going to class.

I am majorly ready for the semester to be over. Only 4 and a half more weeks!

Look out for some more new posts from me. I promise I will post them.
