At Least This Time I Have Something Interesting To Say

The last time I blogged was on April 8th.

Wow.

That was a long time ago.

I've had writers block. Mostly due to the fact that I don't have anything particularly interesting to say. After writing 99 posts consecutively about the greatest adventure on the planet I am tired. Plus I feel like nothing can live up to that.

Good thing I have news.

In January sometime I volunteered at the study abroad fair for the Semester At Sea table. I spoke to Angela Broyles, the assistant director of admissions for ISE and the rep for my area of the country. She and I talked extensively about SAS, my experience, and the book I wrote about it. Of course I said that I wanted to go again but that I didn't think it was possible since I was graduating in the fall.

It was then that she told me I could sail as a post grad.

What.

HELL YES.

That changed everything. I immediately applied before I even told my parents. My dad was like, "well that's an interesting idea,"  and I said I'm glad you think so because its already happening.

That was 6 months ago and I just got the email that I was accepted into the Spring 2015 voyage.

*screaming and happy dancing*

LOOK! LOOK!

Of course it's not completely official yet. While I put down my deposit I still need to find the remaining 20 grand. Should be pretty easy, money grows on trees right?

The other exciting thing is that Jessi and Molly want to sail too and are in the process of applying as well. It will be like a SAS reunion, but in Asia.

Oh yeah, that's where this voyage goes. Asia. That's why I wanted to sail again in the spring instead of repeating fall.

Here's the full country list:

Embark from San Diego, CA
Hawaii
Japan
China
Vietnam
Singapore
Burma
India
Mauritus
South Africa
Ghana
Senegal
Debark in England

So I repeat 3 ports but that is totally and completely fine with me.

ASIA!!! WOOOOO!!!

So that's my news.

Besides that I have just been working. I work at Adventure Island, which is Busch Gardens water park here in Tampa. I am a guest relations supervisor just like I was at Lake Compounce, so of course I love it.

I would say that I promise I will blog again soon but I said that last time and then it turned into a huge lie. So I'm not going to say that this time.

Till next time!
