It's See Ya Real Soon, Not Goodbye.

It is 6:16 in the morning. A few hours ago I clocked out from my last shift in Tomorrowland as a CP. It was bittersweet.

I went into the park a little early to take advantage of my 40% discount one more time and do a little reflecting. I wanted to go on Space Mountain but the wait was 190 minutes so instead I bought a Mickey Bar and just sat. Tomorrowland is now a place full of so many memories and moments.

My shift was awful. I clocked in late and then I was stuck down at preview in Space Mountain all by myself. I almost missed the fireworks, my last one!

It didn't feel like my last day and guess because I have gone seasonal it technically wasn't. But, when I was walking back to Mickey Star Traders from the Arcade at 2 in the morning I realized how much I was going to miss Tomorrowland.

An incredibly thick fog had rolled in. So thick that you couldn't even see the castle anymore. It was beautiful and eery and serene out there all by myself. All of a sudden, even though I had done it many times before, I couldn't believe that I was standing alone in the middle of the Magic Kingdom after hours. It was surreal.

This semester has been a blessing and I am so proud to be a cast member. The experiences I had and the people I met have helped build me into an even better person. I thought about how far I have come in four short months and it blows my mind. Disney has always been my dream and I still can't believe I really work here.

Thank you to everyone that supported me. I would have never made it without your unconditional love. And to my Tomorrowland family, thank you for making my time here extra special, see ya real soon.
