Spring 2015 - Day 100
Today was the
last A day. Which means that it was my last drawing class. Nothing too
thrilling happened, everyone just worked on their final pieces. I am glad that
that class is over, I am not much of a drawer and so the technical aspect of it
started to stress me out.
The best part of
the fact that it is the last A day is that I have even less work to do. And I
didn't have that much stuff to do to start with.
I didn't eat
much for dinner so around 8:30 I was really hungry. Hungry enough that I wanted
real food, not just a snack. So I went up to deck 7 to get a salad.
It was really,
really busy up there. It seemed like everyone was up there. But no one was getting
food. The only reason they were up there was because it was the last pub night.
I have never felt the desire to participate in pub night and have never gotten
a drink card so I didn't particularly care. I just hoped that it wouldn't mean
that it would take forever to get food.
I also was
afraid that they wouldn't let me take my salad down stairs to deck 6 to sit so
that I was away from the racket. The RDs watch really closely to make sure
people to sneak alcohol out. But Morgan said she was fine with me leaving I
went and sat in the deck 7 dining room and ate my salad while watching Sex and
the City. It is amazing the different TV shows and movies that people on the
ship have.
Because it did
take a while for me to get my food and eat I missed the High Seas Acapella
group’s concert. Turns out there wasn't many people there because of pub night.
Whoops, that makes me feel bad for the acapella group.
I probably
should have gone but I really enjoyed sitting in the dining room. I blogged and
relaxed and just had some time to myself.
Then my drawing
professor came over to talk to me and that just stressed me out more. She wants
me to do an art project that incorporates my blog. That just stresses me out
because I consider my blog to be a project in itself. I haven’t written much
since the beginning of South Africa.
I admitted this
to her and I think she understands. I spent a long time sitting in the dining
room working on my blog, but I didn't seem to get very much done. Ugh. At least
I have a 9 hour plane ride back to the states to work on it.
Back in the room
Stephanie ran some plans by me. The plan is to go to Chefchaouen, then to Fes,
then to Marrakech. It seems like a lot of travel to me. I don't think anyone
understands how far apart things are in Morocco. Last time I spent over 30
hours in a bus and that is something that I didn't really want to do again.
But I did want to go to Fes and Chefchaouen seems like a good
place. I don't have anyone else to travel with so I have decided to go with them.
Hopefully it wont be that bad.
