Spring 2015 - Day 98

The only thing of note that happened today was that I got myself cake. To celebrate my new job I ordered a cake to share with my friends and I had them write ‘Congratulations Lauren’ and draw a little Mickey Mouse head on it.

Since the trend is for people to find out that there is cake and then show up at the end of the meal just to eat it, I requested that everyone who wanted to eat cake would also eat dinner with us.

There was about 10 of us. Quinn, who had borrowed some of my art supplies, made me a card in the shape of Mickey Mouse. It was the most lovely thing I had ever received.

The ice cream cake was strawberry and vanilla and was perfect. It was good to have the whole group together again.
