Finally! A Taylor Swift Concert!
I got to check something off of my bucket list tonight! Seeing Taylor Swift in concert! It is something that I have wanted to do for a while now but many things just kept getting in the way. It was totally worth the wait. There is a reason she as won Entertainer of the Year four years in a row. She goes all out on stage and puts on a show.
I love her songs because they have stories and are about something that almost everyone can connect to. Because of this she plays out her songs as she sings them, as though they were a scene in a musical. She tells the stories on stage. It is magical.
She had a lot of costume changes that included many, many beautiful dresses. She is also a celebrity that likes to connect with her fans so she walked through the crowd to a mini stage at the back of the area and sang some acoustic songs there. When she was out there she was really close to us, and that was so awesome.
She sat at the base of this tree as she sang. This is my favorite picture that I took.
Also, she got in a mini balcony type thing and flew around the area so that she could get close to the people in the upper tiers.
She also spoke to us a lot which really made the concert better. When I saw Miley Cyrus in concert, which was awesome by the way, she didn't really connect with the audiance. She just sang the songs one after the other and never even talked to us. Taylor is the complete opposite, she talked to us between most of the songs. She also liked to stand there in silence and just listen to the crowd scream.
It was a pretty amazing concert and I am so happy that I finally got to see her live, it goes at the top of my list of the best concerts I have seen. It was phenomenal. What a night.
