I've Sold My Soul to Work. It's Worth It.

My room is a mess. My mom yelled at me this morning and told me to clean it. I don't have time to clean it mom.

The status of my room is what tells me how busy I am. Right now I literally wake up, go to work, come home, and go to bed. That is it. And I love it. But my room is suffering.

Last week I worked 57 hours. And in the middle of that I went on coaches trip. The rides coaches always take a bonding trip each summer with me tacked on. We left on Sunday night at midnight and got to Washington D.C at 6am. We slept for 3 hours until 9 and then spent the entire day walking around the national mall and going in museums.  We went to bed at 11pm, got up at 9, went to the Zoo and Arlington Cemetery. Then we drove home, which we arrived to at midnight. I slept for 5 hours and then went back to work. Yeah, we are crazy. But it was so much fun.

It just proved to me that you can fit a lot into two days if you don't mind walking around a lot and not getting much sleep. My feet hurt for day. It was worth it.

Here, have some pictures:

The White House!

We had way too much fun in the car.
3 hours of sleep means a nap during lunch time.
So... Larry, the rides manager, booked us a three star hotel. Three star my butt. More like barely the tip of one star. It was gross, and sketchy, and nothing worked correctly. I won't give you the gory details but we were not sad to leave.

 The Zoo!

We couldn't figure out if this creature was alive. Because it never moved from this position.

Yay coaches trip! I wish we could go again.

Here are some other things that I have managed to fit in:

Molly and I were sent to games on Wednesday. It was awesome. I felt like I was in the movie Adventureland. Mostly because they work in games in that movie. We had fun.

We finally managed to go out to dinner and a movie. Date night! I put a fake tattoo on Erica in the bathroom of the movie theatre. We have so much fun when we all get together.

On Saturday, work was weirdly slow. So Molly, Erica, and I went to try and adopt Erica a kitten. But that plan failed so then we rode Boulderdash.

God. I love my job.

All of this happened in one week! I go to bed at 9 most days and my mom makes fun of me. And then yells at me to clean my room.

I guess I better do that. Maybe. Or maybe a nap.
