The Ball Begins Rolling...

As you know, I have the rather awesome dream of working for The Walt Disney Company. My current plan is to take fall semester off and instead be apart of The Disney College Program. But of course, I must first get into the program. This is where the aforementioned ball comes in. On monday they posted the application for the fall program. *GASP*

I thought that it was going to take me a long time to complete, that was going to be essays, and the submission of my resume, and lots of questions asked about my intentions. No such thing occurred, to my excitement and relief. The application was fairly basic and short, it asked the general descriptive questions: name, date of birth, address. And then you inserted your schooling history, and your work history. Very simple and straight forward. I finished on Monday and submitted it on Monday night.

The next morning I woke up to two emails. One thanking me for applying and another, more exciting one, saying that based on my responses they would like me to complete the web-based interview. Woohoo!!

I did it Tuesday afternoon, in my pitch black room, reading the questions out loud to my roommate. It was nerve-racking because the questions were timed and in the format of "rate between one and five how you feel about this statement."

It took me forty minutes and as soon as I was done this popped up:

YAHOO!!! I passed!

My interview is scheduled for Tuesday, the thirty-first at three o'clock. Fingers crossed everyone, I'm almost there!
