Day 61
The most exciting thing that happened today was that I got a program from someone that will allow me to watch all the awesome movies that I got from the Ghana interport student Jeffery a while ago. Tonight Molly and I watched We're the Millers and Now You See Me. Two movies that I highly recommend everyone running out and watching right now. Especially Now You See Me.
Today was a study day and we spent it looking at a port in Namibia. Does this mean I can say that I have been to Namibia even though I haven't stepped foot on land? I say yes.
I did actually study today. Between watching The Big Bang Theory and movies with Molly I met with my group for International Management. We met for 15 minutes to get on the same page about our case and divvy up the questions. We are going to meet again on the 31st to pull it all together. We have to present a case on Walmart's expansion into Africa.
I also went to the clinic for a follow up on my eye. It feels a lot better than yesterday and all the redness is gone so Dr. Dave isn't worried about an infection. So now it just feels like there is something in my eye when I am in bright light or straining to look at something. It should be back to normal in a few days.
That's really all I have to report. Oh, except that I got an email about the parents trip and it references something about a special guest coming on our last day in Cape Town. I have heard this from another person and they won't spill who it is! I want to know! And why are the people involved with the parents trip and parents reception on the last day particularly involved. I wanna know!! Hopefully we find out at logistical pre-port in two days.
Man, blogging about my day makes me feel really lame. Lunch, Big Bang Theory, group meeting, clinic, dinner, movies, laundry, blogging, bed.
Ew.
Today is like a lazy Saturday… even though its Wednesday.
Oh well.
This might be my shortest blog post in a really long time.
Maybe something interesting will happen tomorrow.
