Halloween Party Fun and Playing in the Rain

This week I got to work Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! I got to wear the very cute party costume and play hopscotch out outside with guests all night.

I met some great people and saw some great costumes. I met Karen and Lloyd who were dressed as Snape and Bellatrix. I went over and talked to them because their costumes were amazing! His Snape costume was almost perfect. I found out that Karen hand makes all of their costumes. They will be back twice more, once as Lucius Malfoy and Dolores Umbridge and the last time as Victorian ghosts. I hope I see them both times because Karen does an amazing job with their costumes. They were awesome.

The cutest costume I saw was a tiny girl who was wearing a giant white tutu as a dress. Her parents had drawn a ghost face on the tutu. She was adorable swishing around in her tutu.

I can't wait to work another party, it was great fun. I even got another "star card" for making the night magical!

This week I took Angie to the Walt Disney World Speedway so that she could do the Richard Petty Driving Experience. You can ride or drive, she chose to ride and she bought nine laps. She is a huge NASCAR fan so she was really excited. I took tons of pictures for her; it looked like fun. I might have to do it with her the next time she goes, and she will go again.

They also have an exotic car experience, where you can ride or drive a Porsche or Lamborghini. They had all of the cars sitting out, they were pretty.

On Saturday, my lovely, lovely friends from Tampa came up and visited me and used my schmancy main gate pass to go into the parks for the day. I joined them until I had to go to work at 5. We went into EPCOT first, then Hollywood Studios, and then Magic Kingdom.

At EPCOT I finally rode Mission Space: Mission to Mars. I have always been terrified of that ride, ever since it first opened and I learned that they provided barf bags. It spins you at 35 mph, putting 2.5Gs on you to simulate taking off in a rocket. It was a very surreal feeling, it was awesome. I was feeling it for a little while after the ride was over but it was worth it, I will definitely do it again. I was super proud of myself for getting over my fear.

In Hollywood Studios it started to downpour rain, which I was not expecting. We were soaking wet, which was incredibly fun but all I was thinking about was how I had to go to work right after. I bought a towel but we ended up going back to my apartment so that I could get dry undergarments so that I wouldn't be miserable at work.

When I was at work they were in the Magic Kingdom so they came and visited me and laughed at me in my costume. I love when people visit me!!

It was a very, very fun day. I was so happy that they were able to get away to come and play in the parks with me. I can't wait for the next time that they visit, but its almost time for me to drive down and visit them at school.

This week was a great week, at work we had a quick meeting after closing one day and one of our managers, Edwin, had us all right nice things about each other on a card. Here's mine:

It was a great exercise because it really made me realize that I am getting to know people.

It was a great week, time is passing really quickly!
