Day 24 and 25
I didn't blog yesterday because I was working on my blogs about Paris and Disney. But you should be glad that I didn't dedicate an entire blog to just yesterday but I basically consider it a lost day.
Sleeping till noon, getting up and eating lunch, taking a nap, doing some blogging, eating dinner and showering does not feel like a real day. That is everything I did. Well, except that Cody came to see if I was alive and we sat in my room with Jessica and played with his new crazy laser pointer for way longer than acceptable. It really is cool though. It's green and had multiple dots that you can spread out and then bring together. We could have been having a dance party.
Eventually I forced him to do our International Management Journal, which we did partially accomplish and partially just looked at pictures from the last three days.
Then I slept some more.
So now it is weird that today is Tuesday because yesterday didn't really exist.
Today I went to class all morning, then ate lunch, then took a nap, then read for International Management, then forced myself to finish my blogs.
It is absolutely pouring rain, so sitting outside isn't an option. If it keeps this up I sense cabin fever being a very real thing.
We are still sitting in Le Havre, it is cheaper to remain in port then to sail and it doesn't take very long to get to Ireland. I'm not sure when exactly we are going to be leaving but we are supposed to be in Ireland Friday morning.
I am not exactly sure what I am going to be doing there. I was supposed to be doing an overnight biking safari along one of the coasts but it was canceled. Now I just have my Travel Writing field lab on Friday and on the last day I am going kayaking. But I have no plans for the two days in the middle. Adventure time? Jessica doesn't have all that much to do and neither does Molly so we will probably find something to do together.
This evening I went to a trivia night that was advertised as being about the Atlantic Ocean but the questions were more about the countries that boarder the Atlantic Ocean and it was hard! We didn't win, and the prize was chocolate so it was disappointing. Oh well.
We have two more class days before Ireland and nothing exciting is happening during them. Which is a good thing, I need a break. They are showing Oz the Great and Powerful tomorrow night. Free popcorn to the first 100 people!
Woo!
