Day 113

Caution: There is adult content in this post. Just so you know.

We got to Señor Frogs two hours early.

Two hours.

As Amanda said:

#desperate.

Yes we talk in hashtags.

And yes it was a little desperate.

The Señor Frogs was right off the ship, and it was raining, so we assumed that almost everyone would go there.

For lunch there was a fair amount of people, but they all dwindled away and by 3pm we were the only ones there.

Our plan had been to sit there all day. We had brought card with us and just planned to settle in and have relaxing fun.

And we did. They played music and we danced with the waiters. They made balloons hats for us and put a sign over Molly's head that pointed to her and said 'just farted.'

When we broke out the cards and some of the waiters played with us. It was a great time.

But then it was 3 and some other SAS girls came over to our table and told us that every one was at the beach and everyone was having fun and it was just a huge party.

That certainly threw a wrench in our plan. So much so that I got really annoyed. I had a headache and so just wanted to sit and relax. I really liked our original plan and now it wasn’t happening. Half of the group wanted to stay, half wanted to go. We were having such a good time and then everything was messed up. We just couldn’t decide.

But then a waiter came over and told us that they were closing.

What. Oh no, they can't close. Every single person was planning on ended their day there. Literally everyone.

But that also made our decision for us. We were going to the beach.

Molly and I ran back on the ship to drop off the cards I had brought with me. When we got back we piled into the taxi and learned that one of the SAS girls had convinced them to stay open. They would be only serving drinks but they would be open.

The ride to the beach took about 20 minutes and cost 5 dollars a person. We were in a huge bus with a lot of people which means it was a 65 dollar cab ride. Absurd.

We were dropped off at a casino and had to walk through it to get to the beach.

We ran into a group of other SAS kids. And an ambulance. They were unrelated but apparently there was a SASer in the ambulance. Fantastic.

Jessi and I ended up holding Trevor up while he put on his shoes. He was struggling.

There was this non-SAS kid with the group. He was creepy, mostly because he seemed to be leaking alcohol from every orifice. It was gross, and he was gross. We got away from all of them really quickly.

Every person we passed that was leaving the beach said that we were heading towards the shit show. Oh no.

That's never a good thing.

I got these two gems from drunk people heading back from the beach:

"Have fun at the beachhhh!!"
"Dude, what's with all the tension."

We found a spot on the beach that was less threatening. And was not covered in people making out. There was a lot of people making out. People that had never been paired up before. That was weird.

We spent our time there observing people and talking to people and just generally enjoying being amongst other SASers. It was a big party, finals were over, this was our last port, people got a little crazy.

Probably a little too crazy. Especially back at Señor Frogs.

We went back there around 6. We hitched a cab ride with a bunch of other kids, it was still 5 bucks a person. Such a rip off. I was sitting in the front seat and one kid kept yelling to turn the music up. It was already pretty loud so I told him that it was already all the way up. It was an interesting cab ride to say the least.

There was already a lot of people at Señor Frogs when we got there. All the deans, all of the RDs, and most of the students. The party was in full swing and went until about 8.

The cops showed up at one point, I don't really know why. They started checking for people bringing in outside alcohol after that.

I spent most of my time chasing my friends around.

I wrote in my notebook: "If you pee on my foot, I will hit you."

I have no idea who said it, someone just told me to write it down. I would like to know the context, it sounds funny.

Eventually they kicked us out of the restaurant and the RDs ushered us to the ship.

It seemed to finally hit Molly that the voyage was ended and she was crying very hard. I brought her over to a picnic bench and talked to her about what was wrong. Colin came over and when he saw that she was crying he felt bad but she told him to stay. I told him why she was crying and he gave her a huge hug and then pulled a handkerchief out of his bag for her to use to wipe the various fluids leaking out of her face.

We then stood in line to get back on the ship. It was quite a long line and we had about 45 minutes to make it by on ship time. At one point Molly and I get separated. When I found her again in line this conversation happened:

Me: How are you doing?
Molly: I'm not doing anything.
Me: No, how are you doing?
Molly: Oh, I am good, but I think I broke my tooth.

She then proceeded to pull down her lip and show me her teeth. There was nothing wrong with her.

I am kind of surprised that we made it onto the ship on time and in one piece.

The entirety of the community was a hot, schwasty mess. I truly believe that we were the most together out of everyone.

There were 50 people drunk tanked, which meant they had four makeshift drunk tanks. The Bahamas probably hate us. But we had fun.

Once we were on the ship I lost Molly again. When I found her her face was covered in chocolate, she was holding a half eaten sandwich and was ranting about how she lost her ID card. So I helped her find it and then we went to go find her ID, which was just in her room.

We then went to find Dylan's room because we were pretty sure that Jessi would be in there. But we ran into Wells, Dylan's roommate, and ended up standing in the hallway talking to him for 30 minutes.

Then we found Jessi, and then we went to bed.

Long, insane, crazy, ridiculous, hot mess of a last day.

That is what that was.
